AHN TRIO | ||
Classical music has never sounded better than with AHN TRIO. The three Korean American sisters, who make up a classical piano trio, are not only extremely beautiful but equally talented. The sisters have captured something magical with their music as the trio clearly has an understanding for this genre of music. The members of AHN TRIO consist of Angella (violin), Lucia (piano) and Maria (cello); Lucia and Maria are twins. With several successful CDs under the belt, the trio’s latest one entitled Lullaby For My Favorite Insomniac is a fine piece of work.
One of the amazing qualities about the CD is the trio’s ability to complement what classical music is all about with a twist of their own unique style. The fact that the sisters are Juilliard-trained does not hurt the intensity and level of skills that is shown on this CD. Using no words does not stop a story for being told. Their mastery of the violin, piano, and cello is what makes these sisters fun to listen to on the CD.
Another exciting aspect of the CD comes with how the sisters were able to incorporate in the last four pieces of the CD something freshly new and raw into the CD. Lullaby For My Favorite Insomniac is a masterpiece and one that needs to be heard by the masses. Music lovers will fall in love with this CD. This is a not to be missed project.
