Instrumental pianist Anne Trenning latest effort entitled Watching for Rain is easily one of the best instrumental CDs out on the market at the moment. Anne has managed to capture something magical with Watching for Rain as she takes you on a spiritual musical journey with her latest effort. Watching for Rain clearly illustrates the ultra talents of Anne as each track spotlights various themes. One of the other parts to this CD is that the infusion of the various instrumental pieces such as the grand piano (occasionally solo), violin, cello, flute, piccolo, saxophone, woodwinds, guitar, bass and percussion are an added bonus to the CD.

Another aspect that makes Watching the Rain an enjoyable CD to listen to is the melodious tunes that is present throughout the CD. The final result is that Watching the Rain is an enjoyable ride from start to finish that will smooth the soul of even the meanest beast.

I am pleased to give this versatile and highly-melodic CD a wonderful A.
