From the very moment that I heard my first track, "Another Day", from the rock power trio known as Devi, I instantly became a fan. The power trio, natives of Hoboken, New Jersey, blend nicely together each complementing the other in a band that will blow you away. What make their CD, Get Free, especially beautifully are the strong vocals of the band's lead singer, Debra, who showcases her Girl Power through each of the tracks.
When you add the insane out of control sweet electrifying guitar playing style of Debra (vocals, guitars) along with some kick ass drums by the extremely talented John Hummel (drums) and the masterful Dan Grennes (bass), you have one wild ride ahead of you in this debut Album. Each track represents the diversity and enormous musical range of each of the members.
The final verdict of Get Free is an instant masterpiece and one that will have fans wanting more from this power trio known as Devi.
My rating of Get Free is a solid A+
