Jordan Ferreira, Tyler Hudson, and Mike Avakian make up the band members to the group Mindwalk Blvd. The band formed back in the summer of 2006 and has been making music together ever since. Although each member is very young in age, the come to the music industry with a ton of experience and passion that comes out when you listening to their music. Great tracks like "What Do You Say" and Beside Me" showcase Jordan's commanding strong vocals and electrifying guitar skills, Tyler's insane drumming abilities, and Mike's awesome technique with Bass. Isaac: What has been the best part of 2009 for you musically so far?
Mindwalk Blvd: Buying Dream Theater's Black Clouds and Silver Linings and the Mars Volta's Ochtaedron.
Isaac: What do you feel has been the biggest accomplishment for 2009 so far?
Mindwalk Blvd: Getting signed with Pick the Band and doing some cool stuff like recording with Hollywood Producer Mudrock.
Isaac: Describe the music scene in your area.
Mindwalk Blvd: The music scene around here is more hardcore than anything.
Isaac: What has been the best venue to perform at and why?
Mindwalk Blvd: The Regent Theater in Arlington MA because it was a big stage and we had a back stage dressing room.
Isaac: Elaborate a little about whom were your biggest influences in the music industry and why?
Mindwalk Blvd: Mew, Mike Patton, Thomas Pridgton, Omar Rodriquesz Lopez, Guthrie Govan, Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, Mike Mangini, Bjork, Fair to Midland, Mars Volta, Protest the Hero, and John Travolta.
Isaac: Let's talk about what you feel you will bring to the music industry?
Mindwalk Blvd: I think we'll bring music but we're not sure.
Isaac: If you had an opportunity to work with one artist or group, who would it be and why?
Mindwalk Blvd: We would like to be on the Progressive Nation Tour with Dream Theater.
Isaac: How would you describe your music to others?
Mindwalk Blvd: It's like you're fixing a sink but you weren't asked to fix it.
Isaac: What type of feedback have you received from fans about your music?
Isaac: What can fans expect from you in the next five years?
Mindwalk Blvd: We don't even know what to expect in 5 years.
