Fans of music from great iconic giants such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Isley Brothers will enjoy the smooth rhythmic urban flavor of P Bailey. He is making music that comes out sounding crisp, fresh, and funky. The artist, who is originally from the United Kingdom, is poised to take the American music scene by storm. Check him out in this new spotlight. Enjoy!

Isaac: We'd love to know about your inspirations growing up. I hear so many influences in your music. How old were you when you first discovered music? Is there any kind of musical history in your family?

P Bailey: My father used to sing in an all Male Quire as a young man in the Island of Jamaica. At the age of 3, I was transfixed by what I heard coming from the radio my father used to put on in the house!

Isaac: What drew you to pick up an instrument in the first place?

P Bailey: During Music class in grade school, we were put in groups with instruments and had to come up with our own arrangements.

Isaac: As you hit your teenage years, did you know that this was what you would be doing for the rest of your life?

P Bailey: I knew before my teens when I saw the J5 Perform on the Ed Sullivan show that I saw the light!

Isaac: Is there a performer in any genre of pop culture that you would like to work with?

P Bailey: MJ! God rest his soul, Prince, Stevie Wonder.

Isaac: Who are some musicians that you really like, present or past?

P Bailey: MJ. Prince, Stevie Wonder, Isley Brothers. Luthor Vandross, P Funk, and Bob Marley.

Isaac: What is your ultimate goal with your music career?

P Bailey: Expand my song catalog, own all the rights to my publishing, and master's license and distribute world wide!

Isaac: What has been some of the obstacles it has taken to get this far in your career?

P Bailey: Knowledge of the game and funding!

Isaac: Would you recommend this "field" to others who are aspiring to be musicians like you?

P Bailey: Only if they have the drive, determination, and won't take no for an answer.

Isaac: Describe one piece of advice you've have been given to by others in the music industry.

P Bailey: Never stop writing!

Isaac: What genre of music do you consider most of your music?

P Bailey: Urban/Soul/R&B/Funk.

Isaac: What has been your favorite piece of work?
