She was named the "Megan Fox of Hollywood North" by Maxim magazine recently in an exclusive front cover girl story. Who is this sexy new actress/model? She is the smoking hot Veronika London who has been heating up TV with her appearance on the provocative HBO series Lingerie and appearing in hot pictorial spreads in both Maxim and UMM magazines. She is also gracing the online pages of Junior's Cave in this steamy spotlight as we kick off the return of our Cover Girls on JC Calendar. Enjoy!!
Isaac: How are you doing this warm Sunday afternoon? I wanted to first thank you for taking the time to complete this interview for your spotlight with our Webzine. You are quite the busy entertainer at the moment. You recently completed a spread for Maxim Magazine and have been named the "Megan Fox of Hollywood North" by Maxim magazine. Elaborate a little about how you were offer this gig and your feelings of being named the "Megan Fox of Hollywood North" by Maxim magazine.
Veronika: I'm fab! I'm eating a whole bunch of celery to feed my junk food craving right now. After getting the "Megan Fox of North Hollywood title" by Maxim, the pressure is on to look hot, How did I get the title you ask? I think it started during an interview that I was just saying whatever came to my head (not always the most proper thing)... And the interviewer said "your like a male version of "Colin Farrell".."..I laughed...and then he said "you also look like Megan Fox"..! Then the news article came out "Torontonian Actress Veronika London the Megan Fox of the North". The title got around and apparently so is my name.
Isaac: You are being featured in several hot new projects including your recent television appearance on the provocative HBO series Lingerie. Describe your experience on working on the series and what was your favorite part about this project?
Veronika: Working on the series kept me in shape considering we were naked most of the time and what is better than working with a hot cast that you get to make out with>>lol>>! My favorite part was making out with my co-star Matt, at the time I was in a relationship, it's great to have "wild cards" and get away with things because it is work related.
Isaac: You also were featured in UMM. How have your exposure for both Maxim and UMM magazines helped you professionally in your opinion?
Veronika: It's "Show - business"!! Nobody cares about you unless you can bring in money!
Isaac: I know you were born in Mexico City and raised in Toronto. Describe a little about your background and what led you to want to become an entertainer.
Veronika: Up until the age of 17, I was moved around from Canada, USA and Mexico. At the age of 18 I was pretty much suicidal because I hated my life! My solution was to play "other" people, which lead to film. This business has been my salvation.
Isaac: I read on your online bio that you have finished shooting the independent feature film "Mvnerva", where you play an assassin. How did you prepare for this project? Did you enjoy the physical aspect about this role?
Veronika: I LOVED the role! I love knives, power and guns. Missions accomplished turn me on, they give me a high. I have stage combat training, take martial arts and boxing. By nature I am a very active person so the physical aspects of the movie were easy. I actually found the role very easy to play! I live my life detached, always having objective and work like a machine. I prepared by reading more books of how assassins think and studied their movements through films. There are definitely traits that I will purposely bleed into my personal life about these characters. I would love to get a role like Jennifer Garner in Alias, or Jolie in Tomb Raider, or Mila in Resident Evil in the near future!
Isaac: You are also scheduled to play title roles in the upcoming Independent feature films, "How to Cook like a Pornstar" and "Burning Amber". What aspect of being featured in title roles that excites you as an actress new to Hollywood?

Veronika: Nothing has clicked in! I'm just doing my thing, riding the wave and pushing myself to the max! I almost purposely don't let things click in; instead I work harder to the point that I find myself sleeping on the public bathroom floor because I haven't slept in days.
Isaac: What are some other projects that fans can see you in currently and in the near future?
Veronika: I will start principal photography for the film "Jane Doe". I will be playing a young prostitute and heroin addict that is found by paramedics laying on the street in a pool of blood. I will be the victim of a violent altercation which leaves me with a severe head injury. Stricken by amnesia and struggling with my heroin addiction; the release date for the film will be later in the year. In addition, I will be the new host for Toro Magazine's new segment "Damage Control", which will discuss how men can get out of "sticky situations. The release date for this will be in the early New Year.
