Q. What is your name? When and where were you born?
A. Sergio Bohanan stage name Bigg Meezy.
Q. How did you get that name?
A. My hood named me Big Moe but that name is taken already in the industry so I decided on the name of Bigg Meezy instead.
Q. When did you start to learn? (How old were
you?)
A. I started freestylin’ when was ten. I would go to the skate rink and perform right there on the floor.
Q. Where did you live at the time?
A. Chicago; I will always reside here.
Q. How long have you been actively playing this
kind of music?
A. I've been recording professionally for about 3 years.
Q. What is it about this kind of style that makes it different from others?
A. It's new, it's fresh, it’s raw, and it’s uncut just like that blue diamond.
Q. Are there different styles to your flow?
A. Yeah, but it's not East Coast, or West Coast, or the South; it's Chi-Town.
Q. When and where do you usually play music?
A. Everywhere I get a chance but mostly on the street.
Q. Do you ever earn money by playing music?
A. YES!
Q. Are you in a crew? If so, which one and who are
they?
A. Chi-Town Riders (CTR) with Ill Willz and Ko Mane E.
Q. Are there others in this locale that plays the same kind of music? What are their names and types of musical instruments they play?
A. Ill Willz the producer and Ko Mane E the other artist.
Q. Have you passed your tradition on to others,
who and when? Why is this important to you?
A. No Response Given.
Q. What is your favorite song?
A. All my songs.
Q. What makes a performance/song good? How do you
judge a performance/song?
A. When your mic presence is good, NOT slurring on the words, you come out the
booth and they be like, “you just killed that”; that's a
good feeling.
Q. Do you have anything else you would like to
add?
A. Yeah thanks to the J.C. and a special thanks to musicsubmit.com for promotion and everybody that had something to do with my project.
