Brute Camp

Sonicbids

Brute Camp recently spent some time with us speaking about their music, their passions, family & friends, and everything else in between. Check out this hot new interview with Brute Camp at Junior's Cave New Spotlight!

Isaac: It is a pleasure to be speaking with you via the email my friend. I read in your bio that you are originally from the New York/Virginia Beach area.

Brute Camp: IT’S A PLEASURE SPEAKING TO YOU ISAAC.

Elaborate on how you entered into the music industry and came together as Brute Camp:

Brute Camp: WE actually didn’t start off as Brute Camp. We were originally called D.S.P. -- When we decided to add a third member, the name was changed to Brute Camp.

Isaac: As the Hip-Hop industry is growing up, what do you feel you will introduce into a genre that many critics say is dying?

Brute Camp: We will introduce H.E.R- standing for HYPERNESS, ENERGY AND RAGE!

Isaac: What is your definition of Hip-Hop?

Brute Camp: LIFE, LOVE, AND EMOTION!

Isaac: If you had to describe why it is important for you to be a Hip-Hop entertainer, how would you sum it up?

Brute Camp: THIS is what we dream about everyday; hoping it becomes a déjà vu.

Isaac: Describe your working relationship with Strive 2 Succeed Records?

Brute Camp: THEY are still on the come up, but they are getting there.

Isaac: What I am enjoying about your music is its originality. How would you describe your music to new and old fans?

Brute Camp: WE have always tried touching different topics every time we make music.

Isaac: Recently, you opened remote lounge, producers’ theater clubs, and more. How are you able to keep the magic going regularly with your music?

Brute Camp: DETERMINATION, DISCIPLINE, and THE BIG KEY IS PROMOTION!

Isaac: How important is the creative process when it comes to making beats, music, and/or rhymes?

Brute Camp: THAT’S very important. You don’t want to be compared to another artist.

Isaac: If you could perform in one spot in the world, which spot and why?

Brute Camp: MADISON SQUARE GARDEN--THE HEART OF OUR CITY!

Isaac: When you are on stage and feeling the energy of the audience, how do you continue the level of intensity of the crowd?

Brute Camp: WHERE EVER GOD GUIDES US!

Isaac: What are some previews from Brute Camp in the year 2009?

Brute Camp: JUST STAY DEDICATED!

Isaac: Family and Friends play an integral role in shaping and molding us.

What role did your family and friends play with your own development towards being entertainers?

Isaac: Final thoughts and Shout Out from Brute Camp!

Brute Camp: SHOUT OUT TO THE BIG MAN UPSTAIRS, TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS, TO EVERYONE IN NEW YORK AND VIRGINIA BEACH AREA, AND EVERYONE ON THE GRIND KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO. ONE!
