Check out this online interview as
Chris R. Notarile takes time to talk with us.

Juniorscave: How are you doing today? Thanks for taking the time to do this online interview with Juniorscave.com. We are excited about this interview and wanted to say thank you first off.
Juniorscave: Give us a little background on you:
Chris: Well, I'm a freelance filmmaker. I was born in New Jersey. My father was an illustrator, responsible for numerous TV Guide covers. Though I was able to draw since I was a kid, I didn't get into filmmaking till I was 18. Funny ain't t it?
Juniorscave: Your website looks very good. I am very impressed with the layout. Could you let us in on how you came up with everything with the website and the logic behind it?
Chris: Uh, well I just wanted something that would catch people's eye when they looked at it. I also wanted it to be very creative and to have the theme of the site reflect my style in everything that I do.

Juniorscave: It is obvious that you have a passion for comics. When did you first started reading comics? How did it progress over the years? Which characters do you associate yourself with the most (with Blue Beetle being the most obvious)?
Chris: Well since you took away the easiest of the answers. I guess Catwoman, only because of all the work I've done with her. Also, Michael Myers of the Halloween series because of my first two fan films, The Nightmare Ends on Halloween and Friday the 31st.
Juniorscave: Where do you see comics adaptation into movies/films heading in the next five years?
Chris: God only knows. So far, I'd say it’s been 70% good. There have been a few flops, and a few major flops with iconic characters as well. But then again, it just depends on who's running the show. But I'll tell you this, if I ever get a shot at the big time with my choice of superhero movie, I’ll be damned if I let it fall anything short of amazing. But that's just me.
Juniorscave: What are some projects you would like to see come to light?
Chris: With me or in general? In general, I'm game for whatever Hollywood deems cool. But personally, if I get a shot at something, here's my fantasy "to do list"
1. Blue Beetle
2. Catwoman
3. Michael VS Jason (maybe, I say this only because I already did a short to it)
4. The Death and Reign of Superman
5. Infinite Crisis
Yeah, if I could do any or all of those movies before I die, it would be really cool.
Juniorscave: Why do you think comics and its offspring in movies/films/television are so popular at the moment?
Chris: I wish I knew. But frankly, why ask why? Finally the things I like are cool and are being considered main stream. As a filmmaker, this makes my job easier when it comes down to choosing scripts to film. I like superheroes, and I can make as many movies as I want because they are hot right now.
Juniorscave: Do you see yourself as a role model for the younger kids out there?
Chris: I think anyone with a website and a product can be a role model and I personally feel that if I am to anyone, I want to set a good example and not let them down. But to answer your question.... I have no idea. But if I am, it'd be really nice.
Juniorscave: Time for shameless plugs: anything you would like Juniorscave.com's audience to know like upcoming dates etc.?
Chris: I will be a featured guest at Florida Super con this November 5th and 6th as well as NYC's Big Apple Con, November 17th- 19th. Check my site for more details: www.blinky-productions.com
Juniorscave: If you had three wishes, what would they be?
Chris:
1. To be financially secure so I can devote all my time to my family and my films.
2. To have the chance to prove my worth in my craft.
3. To have all stupid people be spayed or neutered. I say that only because I know it will bring us all one step closer to global harmony. Plus there will be less traffic when I drive to work.
Juniorscave: Any last thoughts you would like to say before we wrap this interview up?
Chris: Don't do drugs. Grapes are fun. I like cereal... oh and thanks for having me.
Juniorscave: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview. There you have it folks.
