What's New in Comics and Games
Well hello and howdy-do's to everyone, I know how I said that I would get everyone up to speed this week on the "Infinite Crisis" but the comics didn't come in this week so I'm just as lost as you guys are on that situation.

But there was a new situation that came up in the latest "Supergirl" issue this week. Let's start out by saying that she has a major crush on Nightwing(how is it those "Bat"-men get all the kick-butt-superpowered women), and Starfire wasn't too happy about the kiss she put on him.

But Luthor really came out in this one and "laid the smackdown" on her so to speak, then the strangest thing happened at the end;SPOILER ALERT, TURN AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW while she was getting hit by what looked as a black kryptonite ray, she passed out and a spirit split from her body dressed in a black version of her outfit speaking in her native tongue. Then told Luthor in something he could understand, "You just made the biggest mistake of your life", it should be interesting next issue.

I didn't pick up any marvel titles this week, so no news there, but on a dvd front if you haven't purchased it yet the "Alien vs Predator" unrated edition comes out this Tuesday, along with "Aeon Flux" complete series on dvd.

And at 12:01 am on Nov 22nd the X-Box 360 will be released in stores, if you are getting it best get in line about 3 that afternoon if you want it.

That is all this week, but before I go I want to ask the readers out there, has anyone played "City of Villains"? If so can you hit me with an email to let me know how it is, I'm itching to buy it or play it at least but my computer needs to get an upgrade first, so I'm left in the dark about that game.

Until next week,

"Same "bat" time-same "bat" channel"

Sorry, I had to go a little ole school on you with that one, don't act like you didn't watch that show either, and I bet you still remember the theme song too!!!

Hello everyone, I was in good spirits today and had a ton of items to discuss that was until I checked WWE and my day was saddened. But for those that don't know, WWE superstar Eddie Guerrero, passed away in his hotel room this morning the cause of death is unknown. I, myself, am deeply saddened by this because he was, babyface or hea(good or bad in wrestling terms), one of my favorite wrestlers who made Smackdown great. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

But I'll try to begin. To start, the X-Box 360 is in stores on Nov. 22, with the PS3 out sometime Spring of 2006, I'll give a date as soon as one is available.

On the cartoon network front for those who don't know, the Boondocks, is a must watch for all older lovers of cartoons. THIS IS A SHOW FOR ADULTS OR OLDER TEENS ONLY!!!!! It seems for now that is airs at midnight on Sat and Sundays at 11.

Now for the comic, anime & gaming fan
THE MEGA CON IS COMING!!!!!!!
In Orlando, FL the weekend of Feb 24-26, I'll be there-will you???

And this week I would have liked to have updated you guys on the Infinite Crisis going on in DC but the comic shop(Sweet Essentials...formally Book Mine) was shorted on their order so that update will be ready for you hopefully next week. Other than that no big news in DC.

And in Marvel, the House of M has fallen, now let the Decimation begin:
Hundreds, no thousands of mutants have awaken without their powers among the most noticeable ones including Magneto, Iceman, Mirage and Prof. X is missing

Excalibur has reformed, and Wolverine has his complete memory back. And on the non-mutant front, it seems as if Hawkeye has returned from the dead(like that kinda stuff happens all the time in comics, oops it does sorry).
This is a very brief week, sorry about that but the news I posted in the beginning really got me off subject, so next week should be better, until then...........I'LL HOLLA!!!

MEGA CON DATES FEB 24-26,

Here is a re-cap on last night's show:
teen titans Teen Titans
which airs weekly on the Cartoon Network
8:00pm on Saturday Nights (Eastern Time)

The team while searching for the The Fearsome Five embarks on battle with a new and improved Dr. Light. While in battle, the team falls underneath a new discovered World. Here, the team meets KOLE. I am not saying anymore but this was a jam-packed funny episode as alweays.

Check your local listing for repeat of this episode.

My grade for this TV EPISODE is a solid "A"

PREVIOUS NEWS!!!

Hey true believers. Sorry I have always wanted to say that but I have some excited news for you. I am back in full force with the revamped Junior's Cave. Last Chance Recommendations is going places. I have cool link for all you comic fans. Go to Super Hero Hype for all the news on upcoming information about comic characters being made into movies. It is a site that I check out everyday so give it whirl and send your emails to me at Sol Chance and let me know what you think.

Hello, hello, and hello all you freaks and geeks out there, sorry I've taken so long to enlighten you with new info on what is going on in the world of comics, anime and games (to be honest I've just been a wee bit lazy..............ok a lot). But there are some new and interesting things going on now, that has been a major draw back not much going on, but now the tide has turned and the universes are unsettled, but don't take my word for it these are of course just "recommendations" on my part.

Well, lets hit Marvel first, and by far one of the best if not the best titles going right now under the radar a(if you want just straight, no nonsense action), is "Wolverine".

If you haven't been keeping up with his title then you have really been missing out, the art work is not the super-clean work of let's say "X-men" or "Superman". It's that old down and dirty stuff you remember from the old "Thor" issues back in the late 80's and early 90's, which really fits with this storyline. The current "Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D" arc takes place after that wild "Enemy of the State" arc inwhich wolverine was "killed" and "resurrected" by "The Hand".

You are probably thinking, "How can wolverine be killed?", just remember that healing factor can only do so much and wolverine is over 100 years old, plus we are dealing with magic and that throws all other convential methods of death out of the window.

But to make a long story short, after he went on this incredible killing spree in the marvel universe killing Northstar in the process, S.H.I.E.L.D. captures him and reprograms him to stop the heroes and villians he killed for the hand which they then resurrected into this super-army for hydra(and I must admit Northstar was never the coolest character, but once he was resurrected he lost all self-doubt and became this bad ass who was able to talk and back it up when he fought wolverine). So now Wolverine is doing this one-man-war against Hydra/the Hand, well not anymore, since Elektra has now joined him. I could talk more about this and still not even scratch the surface of this story but if you haven't you must read this, and if you missed it..............there is always a trade paper back out there with your name on it, you won't be disappointed.

Now with DC, and a title I have rarely talked about it I even said anything at all about it............Hawkman. Which was/is a great title but there was a moment about 4 or 5 months ago, when I was going to stop collecting it, then this story arc started.

And all I have to say is action, action, action and probably the sickest death scene in a title that is not vertigo or max (DC and Marvel's mature lineup). And a shock in there for all of you old Teen Titans fans also, you must try to jump on this one..........trust me.

Anime fans, not much to report, except Cartoon Network is showing the Dragonball-Z saga from the beginning.......and here is the best part it's..........UNCUT!!!!!

Video-gamers.................one word..................MADDEN!!!!!!!!!!! The date......Aug 8, 2005.......... and that's all I have to say, until next time...............I'LL HOLLA!!
