A Savannah construction worker, Who Stole Soldiers' Credit Cards, Arrested




In Savannah Georgia, a construction worker faces big charges with the law. Earlier this month, police caught a man on surveillance tape who has been suspected of stealing credit cards right. The construcion worker was stealing the credit cards out of people's wallets at Hunter Army Airfield's gym.

Police Officials say he has racked up more than $4,000 in charges at various stores in Savannah, Georgia. The man, Michael D. Jones, in question is now in custody. Jones made a full confession to police on Wednesday morning. The 36 year old construction worker was contracted to work at Hunter Army Airfield. Thanks to an anonymous tip, he's facing felony federal charges.

As his parole officer escorted him handcuffed, to the car, Jones'face was covered with a mask. The parole officer stated that would take him to the Chatham County Jail.

Jacob D. Robida shot and killed a small-town police officer

Jacob D. Robida, Anti-Gay Suspect, Dies in Hospital

Jacob D. Robida, the 18-year-old suspected of a brutal rampage in a Massachusetts gay bar last week, has died from gunshots to the head sustained during a shootout with Arkansas state police.

Several of the witnesses at the gay bar identified the attacker as Jacob Robida. Robida, who fled the scene after wounding three patrons with a gun and a hatchet was later caught in Arkansas. Police Officers tracked Robida down. After a high-speed vehicle pursuit, a shoot out resulted in a police officer and Robida’s female passenger dead in addition to the suspect being shot twice in the head by police.

One patron of the Puzzles bar where the assualt took place said ,“I wish he would have lived and gone on trial." The warrant that was issued for Robida’s arrest labelled the attack a hate crime, charging him with assault, attempted murder and civil rights violations.


Gay Bar Attack Suspect Caught;Police Officer Killed

The Arkansas state police say Jacob D. Robida who was wanted for a hatchet-and-gun attack on patrons of a Massachusetts gay bar shot and killed a small-town police officer. This deadly assault happened before being critically wounded in a gun battle with police that left his young female companion dead.

Jacob D. Robida, 18, gay bar attack suspect, shot and killed Gassville police officer Jim Sell, stated police spokesman. Within minutes later, about 25 miles from the scene, Robida engaged in a brutal gun battle with police officers who had set up a roadblock across Arkansas 5 downtown.

Robida, who was wanted in a Thursday early morning attack at the Puzzles Lounge in New Bedford, Mass. which left three men wounded, one critically was labeled by the New Bedford police as a hate crime attacker. This hate attack, which is classified as a hate crime, Robida would face attempted murder, assault and civil rights charges. In Arkansas, killing a police officer is a capital offense punishable by death.
