This is not a music critical review more like an artist review; I think the first of its kind. I wanted to share with the subscribers of this magazine an insight on an invigorated new talent coming our way. Check out the revelation of Kimmy Kearse.
Among the most electrifying aspects of doing this job is exposing energizing new talent. Put differently, I love bringing to the readers of this web magazine some of the freshest talent out there in the music industry. Substantially, this next talent certainly lives up to this with her soulful voice and commanding presence. The name is Kimmy Kearse, and you will fall in love with her as I have done already. With such influences as Patti LaBelle, Stephanie Mills, Anita Baker, and Earth, Wind, & Fire to name a few, Kimmy Kearse, a R&B singer from Pennsylvania, is giving you a sample of what has been missing as a whole in R&B music industry: Classic Soulful R&B.
Remarkably, Kimmy has been performing on stage since she was three years old where she and her mother would rehearse together. She attended Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri for three years as music major. As far as music credit goes, Kimmy is doing all the writing and arranging for her first solo effort. Kimmy is stepping out on a limb from her previous gig as a member of the group Kimmy and Klasse. Will she have the perseverance to prevail; only time will tell? However, I can say this-she is not going to go out without a fight. She is determined to make it in the music industry and prove she merits a spot with the legendary musical heavyweights.
